Graphic LCD also names Dot matrix lcd,the whole constituted by the number of points, such as 

240x128 LCD is 240*128 points,which can display complected graphics,characters,letters,symbols,

etc.and the display content also can be define according to the actual application. But character 

LCD is each character is fixed display lines quantity and the position of each character is also

fixed.

Generally the graphic LCD is more flexible to display the content and can be display more 

complected content than Character LCD.
